A booking is confirmed once a deposit is received and we have issued written confirmation. Until then, dates and places are held provisionally and subject to availability. The exact deposit amount and balance due date are to be confirmed by Tripzy.
Payment methods and schedules are confirmed at the time of booking. All prices are quoted per person unless stated otherwise, and are subject to change until a booking is confirmed.
Cancellation charges apply on a sliding scale according to how close to departure the cancellation is made. The specific tiers are to be confirmed by Tripzy. Cancellations must be made in writing.
Occasionally a trip may be changed or cancelled for reasons outside our control, including weather, road closures, landslides, permit refusals or insufficient group numbers. Where this happens we will offer an alternative date, an alternative itinerary, or a refund of monies paid for the affected services.
Mountain travel is not always predictable. Guides may alter routes or the order of activities for safety or logistics. We will always aim to deliver the experience described, and will explain any change at the time.
Travel insurance is required. For trekking trips, your policy must cover the maximum altitude of your itinerary and emergency evacuation. Tripzy does not provide insurance, medical cover or helicopter rescue.
Some trips involve sustained walking at altitude. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit enough for the trip you book, and for telling us about medical conditions that may affect your travel.
You are responsible for holding a valid passport and the correct visa. We will advise on the process and arrange permits that are required for restricted areas within your itinerary.
We ask travellers to respect local customs, dress modestly in public, ask before photographing people, and leave no litter behind.
Tripzy accepts responsibility for the services it directly provides. We are not liable for loss or injury arising from events beyond our reasonable control. Full liability terms to be confirmed with legal review.
If something is wrong during your trip, tell your guide immediately so we can try to resolve it there and then. Anything unresolved can be raised with us in writing afterwards.
